So I'm pretty hot pissed about this FXX ordeal. I subscribe to only Tier 1 digital cable (think the first 100 channels). FXX is Tier 2. I don't watch enough TV to give a shit about NickToon, The Military Channel, or Discovery Health, etc., so I never upgraded. I do miss out on BBC America, but TG is on the Internet about an hour after it airs, so no big deal. Moving The League to a second tier digital network was a bullshit moneygrab to lure subscribers. I'm sick of Rupert Murdoch's stingy asshattery. At least they didn't touch Justified or Archer. And I'm sure if I looked, The League is probably hosted somewhere.
Honestly, I'm ditching TV service of any kind pretty soon. With a $40/month broadband connection, and 2 $8/month subscriptions to Netflix and Hulu Plus, I have pretty much everything I need. All the shows I like will be on Netflix eventually, and Hulu Plus has most of the network stuff I like (I don't watch anything on CBS, really). If I really want to see a game/race (NCAA, NFL, NHL, or F1), I can go to a bar and enjoy it, or buy a digital subscription. I even have a buddy who will kick me his HBO GO subscription for a case of beer. Which means I can have all the content I want on my laptop, tablet, smartphone, and set top box for $58/month. Plus 24 Labatt's. Suck it, cable company.
/Rant
Weird side note: while my tablet, smartphone, and set top box are all Apple products (not by design, mind you; they just slowly snuck in), I will never own a Mac. I don't understand the OS, and I hate the single mouse button.

Windows user here asking, "huh?"
Been a while since you've used a Mac, Mack?

I just moved and don't have cable. For the next 6 months internet is costing me $11, if I want to watch something I can always find it. It does suck that now sunday mornings will be spent at the bar along with monday nights but oh well. Give primewire.ag a whirl, so much stuff to watch. Oh and the League is up there as well. I highly recommend the sockshare or putlocker links.
Also I don't know where your tangent on Apple products came from... But I agree, I just got a pretty nice laptop that if it were an Apple it would have been 3 times the price I paid.

Don't Mac desktops and laptops still only have one execute button? Give me right clicks, or give me death.

As I was recounting the various ways in which I could consume media, I realized somehow all my devices slipped onto iOS, which seemed weird to me because I am ardently anti-Mac because I don't like the OS, price, or hardware.

No.
Also, Apple trackpads offer vastly superior functionality than anything produced on Windows.

I openly admit to laptop Neanderthalism. Perhaps this image macro will explain my disposition.

I got pinch to zoom, 3 finger swipe(that sounds dirty. . .), two finger scroll and a bunch more shit that upsets me when it happens on accident. Track pads suck and are an inferior way of controlling a cursor.
